Headscarf is not compulsory in Schools

I was browsing the Ministry of Education’s Official website and found this about ‘tudung’.

Pardon my ignorance on this issue, as I do not actually read every circular produced and hence why I thought this one is very interesting since many schools seem to make it compulsory for Muslim female students to wear a headscarf or better known as ‘tudung’ in Malay.

This latest findings of mine does make Malaysian schools seem more liberal in a way, and I bet it gives parents and students enough proof to sue those whom go against such a circular.  I’m not against any religion, but I believe in the right to practice your preffered religion in your humble but sincere way.  The complete circular can be downloaded here.

error: Sorry.
