Not in the mood to say much. All I want to say is that the system in the photo below is like the ‘fastest, most user friendly, and brilliant system‘ ever available to date because it takes a speedy 1-2 minutes to input just one mark for a particular student, it takes over 2-4 times to get in to a system, and above all, it requires us to re-visit the historical exam marks which were already sent to the relevant authorities light-years ago.
On that note, I bet ‘importing data’ from a previous older system maybe a little more difficult and less eficient in comparison to asking thousands of teachers to key in the data manually, again.
However, I bet Sheldon Cooper would disagree with all my statements above… After all, he is a physicist. and the one making the system most probably isn’t =P
*are you breathing a sigh of relief? I could hear you from here. Haha*
That’s like a good news, isnt it? very good news, right?
LOL… ur being sarcastic too eyh? welcome to the game =P
u know me so well… hahaha!
Everything will be automated in the future. =)
I hope so.. now its manual.. manual and manual..
Hahah! VEry sarcastic right? Did you read the comments made by William Ghani in the Borneo Post last week about this? cool huh?
Anyway, I had done mine. I hope yours too.
Im in the midst of doing it bro. I have 10 classes, and they require us to fill in 2 exams which have past. One class has an average of 35 students, which means I have like 700 marks to fill in, not including TOV and ETR =(
SAPS is the one that made my wife to stay up at night just because of the due date.
It happens. Now the system is a little better..
If the system is user friendly then I think it is ok to key in the marks provided the school adm. should follow the system and not bug the teachers by their own system eg. hc1,hc2,hc3,hc4,hc5,and so on.Some scls.have it and some dont.Saps is to be followed by all schools.Whenever needs to view the marks print it with or without the presence of the teacher concern.
Yes, Ray Good point. I think if it’s only one centralize system, it would be very good, but many schools have their own, so many end up filling more systems… *sigh*
long waiting system has arrived. but not as what I’ve aspect. Million dollar Businesses rip off all of our sleeping time.
=)
Salam semua Guru Malaysia,
Jangan terkejut jika saya katakan saya mengambil masa cuma 30 minit untuk key-in markah 4 kelas Tingkatan 4 saya ajar (semua subjek Sejarah). Ini bermaksud, 160+ markah murid untuk 30 minit. Not bad.
As for the laptop/komputer used:komputer baru lagi(beli Ogos 2011-Model MSI 420FX, semua baru install, driver up to date dan ‘file defragmentation telah digunakan. Perisian yang digunakan saya adalah Firefox 5 (belum update ke Firefox6 sebab takut sistem SAPS tak sapport), dan kepantasan talian 4Mbps dan dilaksanakan di rumah dalam sekitar jam 8 malam =)
