The Malaysia Cyber Sales has ended, and I’ve decided to buy something because I really needed a replacement for my aged bag which has served me for a good eight years.
The bag I’m replacing was a free gift I obtained for signing up for their credit card. I never knew it would last that long, or that it would eventually become my laptop bag and be used to travel the world.
Anyway, after trying my best to delay replacing it, I finally caved after one of its zipper came off and became a danger to my fingers.
So, I decided to go online shopping to seek for a replacement bag and the target was a not so ‘laptop bag’ looking bag.
I wanted something casual, but has enough room for me to use to the office. A couple of years back, I’ve started to preferred carrying a backpack than a briefcase to work, so this bag should be a backpack.
After doing much comparison between numerous online malls such as the ever popular Lazada, iPmart, ebay, Rakuten and 11Street, I finally decided that 11Street offered the best rates for the bag I wanted which is the Everki Swift Light 17″ Laptop Backpack. (You can read the review here)
11Street somewhat managed to offer me free shipping for my purchase with an additional 11% discount offered from the price. I thought it was quite a deal especially since the delivery time was shorter than other e-malls. My decision to buy the bag from 11Street was also due to the ease in using the discount coupons offered if compared to other e-malls which require you to insert some weird code to enjoy the discount.
At 11Street, you just need to apply for the coupon you think you qualify for, and it will be included in your ‘saved coupon’ options. The next time you checkout your purchase, you can choose from the coupons you have and use them accordingly. It’s so simple!
Payment was a breeze using my credit card, and confirmation of my order was obtained within 12 hours of my purchase. In fact, the bag I bought was shipped the same day and it took two days to be delivered safely.
The experience shopping with 11Street was indeed very positive if compared to my purchase with some other e-malls which made me sweat over the delivery.
In fact, 11Street does seem to be much better if compared to the other e-malls I’ve used before because they seem complete enough to include parcel tracking details, a general refund/return policy, and the ease of adding former products you’ve spotted to the cart even after you’ve been browsing for a while.
The only thing I didn’t like about 11Street was how they depicted ‘free shipping’ because most of the times thier ‘free shipping’ excludes East Malaysia. I mean, if it’s free shipping, be sure it’s totally free bah kan?
Anyway, I am happy with 11Street so far, so I wouldn’t mind returning for another purchase next time. Oh, did I also mention that you can easily add a former item you’ve viewed to your cart despite already browsing through the many hundreds? Well, check it out below!
Psssttt – This is not a paid post. Just thought I should share the experience.
