BJAK referral codes: Get extra RM5 discount

You can save a bit more when you use BJAK referral codes.  These codes would deduct RM5 from your insurance total, saving you RM5 for the day.

I know it may not be much, but saving RM5 is still saving.

To save, you cannot use the direct link that was sent to you in the email. Instead, you need to use the BJAK link here: (https://bjak.my/?k=CYRIL-DASON-746C33) or below to ask for a quote.

This is the only way for you to get the RM5 discount as BJAK doesn’t offer discount referral codes unless you are using Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) services, and even those are limited to certain BNPL.

Technically, what you need to do to enjoy the discount is;

  1. click on the link I’ve given you above,
  2. request for a quote, fill in the details, and
  3. use the new quote that arrives in your email from BJAK to enjoy the discount.

What is BJAK

In a nutshell, BJAK is the company that offers you seamless renewal of insurance online.

The beauty of BJAK is that they allow you to choose from numerous insurance companies under their wing, and you can customize your coverage according to your needs.

This allows us, the purchaser, to enjoy better price choices when selecting our car insurance.  Compared to buying your insurance in a local store, prices are generally cheaper.

Aside from that, BJAK also enables us to renew our car insurance and road tax from the comfort of our homes.

The problem with BJAK

But BJAK is not perfect. I have two problems with BJAK despite using them for my third year.

The first problem is exclusive for Sabah and Sarawak vehicles.

BJAK offers road tax renewal aside from their car insurance renewal. However, their road tax rates are based on West Malaysia, which is more expensive than those offered for Sabah and Sarawak.

The second problem I have with BJAK is the lack of selection of Betterment charges options.

When I was involved in an accident a few months ago, I learned about Betterment charges.

These charges need to be applied when you buy/renew your insurance. It allows one to get the car fixed for free with original parts.

If you don’t pay for the betterment charges up-front, you will need to pay more when the car is fixed to cover for the betterment charges as seen below.

Betterment charges go into the hundreds, but with BJAK, I noticed that not all insurance have the option to add on such charges.

I was advised by the mechanic that repaired my car to pay for Betterment charges to be safe.

But then, if you are unlikely to get involved in an accident, you need not worry about this.

Conclusion about BJAK referral codes

With that said, how much you are willing to spend for your car insurance varies, but as far as I know, BJAK saves time and money as it’s easy to use.

Aside from that, the referral codes I shared above helped save an extra RM5 more.
