So, it’s been almost three months since I started ‘running’. I call it ‘running’ because that’s perhaps 70 percent of what I do when I hit the gym. I just run. I bother not about the weights and most of the equipment. It was never my goal to build up or get that six pack everyone seems to be crazy about.
Come to think about it, I’ve never actually had a six pack. I ate a lot when I was younger, and I still do eat a lot now, though I have tried to cut down when I can, well, for health reasons.
I don’t like a crowded gym, so the timing of my trips is important. I spend less than an hour in the gym, practically burning about RM40 a month for the facilities. Sometimes, while running, I think I could cut down on my expenses by stopping my gym membership, but then, without such membership, I’ll be staying indoors most days without motivation to run.
The yield so far has given some joy with my weight going slightly down after three months. It is however still a long way to the ideal weight I am gunning for, but knowing my weight is decreasing is good.
To be truly honest, there was a time in my life, when I was single, when I didn’t care about my diet, what I did, and how fast I drive.
That however has changed on 14 December 2013.
Now with my little girl growing up so fast, the world is about her, and no more about me, so do pardon me if I decline invites to collaborate, meet up or even attend a function you have.
Hello April!
Peek-a-boo!
I see you!
