When my wife suggested a trip to the Vana Nava Water Park Hua Hin, I was skeptical because I’d likely not enjoy the rides as I used to, and the entrance fee to the water park was rather high in my opinion.
Of course I went anyway as I am now writing a review about the water park now.
I figured I should share my experience since I did enjoy the Vana Nava Water Park Hua Hin. My initial concerns about the pricing was largely unfounded as I found the water park to be good value of money.
ATTRACTIONS AT THE VANA NAVA WATER PARK
The Vana Nava Water Park Hua Hin is pale in comparison to WaterBom Bali, but it has its own attractions.
Major rides came in the form of the ABYSS water slide, which is the largest water slide in Thailand, and the Boomerango, which is the longest water slide in Thailand.
Both these water slides could make you go as fast as 45km per hour! I tried the Boomerango twice and I can testify it was simply amazing!
I could actually play it more times since there wasn’t a queue to play, but walking up the 28m tower took its tool on my knee.
Aside from the two massive water slides, there were also six other slides available. They include the freefall water slide, the aqualoop, the inner-tube, rattler, superbowl and master blaster. All these rides had minimal queues for them which meant you could go on them as many times as you liked.
Since I was with my four year old daughter, I spent most of our time at safer zones which were ‘child friendly’.
The child friendly areas at the Vana Nava Water Park Hua Hin were equally interesting given that they also catered to adults.
We spent hours at the Rainfortress and Kiddy Cove, but my daring daughter really loved the Coconut Beach which had artificial waves every few minutes.
Aside from the water based attractions, there was also other attractions. They include the ropes zone, wall climbing and surf zone. I didn’t manage to try due to time constrain.
After five hours playing at the water park, my daughter was tired. We headed home all happy with the experience at the park.
WILL I RETURN TO VANA NAVA WATER PARK?
It is a definite yes. There’s less crowd at this water park compared to others I’ve been to. It also feels really safe with the many life guards on duty.
The life guards are also very proactive and on the lookout for any guest who tries to flaunt the rules. This is good especially when you are travelling with children like myself.
On top of that, there’s just so many rides to enjoy and I can just repeat playing them without a queue.
TICKET PRICES TO THE VANA NAVA WATER PARK
The prices for every entry to the Vana Hava Water Park Hua Hin are as seen below.
• Adult Pass (Height 122 cm and above) THB 1,200/Ticket
• Child Pass (Height 91 cm – under 122 cm) THB 800/Ticket
• Senior Pass (Age 60 yrs. & up) THB 800/Ticket
I’d however strongly suggest that you do your booking online using KLOOK instead of the official website.
With the Vana Nava KLOOK Tour, you get to enjoy better rates, and they include towels, meals and entry fees.
It is so much more worth it compared to buying from travel agents or even buying directly from the official site.
WHERE IS VANA NAVA WATER PARK HUA HIN
The Vana Nava Water Park is located near the Phet Kasem road which is a major road to Bangkok and Southern Thailand.
It’s near a Tesco Supermarket, and Holiday Inn Resort Vana Nava Hua Hin is attached to the water park. The map to the water park can be seen below.
I would strongly suggest you charter a ride to the water park from your hotel.
You can opt to either arrange for your transport back, but if I would suggest considering taking GRAB by using the GRAB App. Taking GRAB allows you to do away with limiting your time at the park.
We did just that and paid THB110 for our ride back using a Toyota Vios.
HOTELS NEAR THE HUA HIN WATER PARK
If you want to go to the Vana Nava Water Park Hua Hin on a daily basis, I would strongly suggest you book a stay at Holiday Inn Vana Nava.
However, other hotel options, as well as their rates are available in the map below.
